What Does “Verified” Mean?
Every listed operator has completed our 6 step screening process before being added to the network:
Our 6 Step Screening Process
-
We confirm their identity, contact information, business presence, and service area.
-
We personally speak with every pilot to discuss their experience, equipment, services, and how they handle lost-pet searches.
-
During the call, we verify the drones, thermal capabilities, and experience they claim to have.
-
Pilots must complete a background screening before approval.
-
Pilots pay an annual fee to help cover our screening and verification process.
-
Only pilots who complete our full review are added to the map.
Paying does not guarantee approval.

How to Choose a Pilot
Experience
Have they performed lost-pet searches before?
Equipment
Do they have thermal capability when appropriate?
Job Fit
Are they available, within your budget, and comfortable searching your area?
A Drone Is One Tool — Not the Entire Search.
Drone searches work best alongside ground searches, cameras, flyers, feeding stations, social media, and other recovery methods.
Often times ground searches yield greater success rates.
We recommend you include drone searches in part with expert ground teams. No pilot can guarantee that a missing pet will be found.
